148.00 USD Who says you have to be married to have a vase with your names on it? This vase is similar to the wedding vase except it has no date (date can be inscribed on the bottom for $2 extra). Each 8-1/2"-9" vase is personalized with the couple's first names. First, the vase is hand thrown on the wheel and the names are etched into the clay. Later, when the clay is at the perfect consistency, the names are painstakingly hand carved out of the clay. I like how the names really pop because the other side of the vase is not carved and provides a backdrop for the lettering. I use a lightly speckled ivory satin glaze (satin is somewhere between glossy and matte). I do not slip cast my vases, each one is individually hand thrown on the wheel. They are kiln fired to over 2,200 degrees for durability. The lead time on this vase is 4-6 weeks so please order with that in mind.
